Tracking devices transmits data through GSM

Wireless machine-to-machine technology developer Archetype launched TerraTrace, an asset-tracking system that provides real-time location and status information. According to the company, it uses a small onboard GPS tracking device, which transmits data through wireless GSM frequencies to a secure data center and is accessible by authorized users via a secure Internet connection.
