Team Simoco, DX Radio to update IP network for Michigan utility alliance

Team Simoco announced this week during the Utility Telecom Council’s annual conference in Orlando that the Michigan Three Alliance—which consists of Great Lakes Energy Cooperative, Presque Isle Electric and Gas Co-op and Wolverine Power Supply Cooperative—has selected the company to upgrade it communications network. DX Radio Systems will handle the deployment, which will utilize Team Simoco’s IP-based Xfin voice and data platform. The upgrade involves 114 base stations at 29 sites in Western Michigan.
