Surge protector for mesh networks launched

Hayden, Idaho-based Transtector Systems launched a mesh-network surge protection system series that features the company’s avalanche suppressor diode technology for mesh radios through low-voltage protection levels. The series is built for Motorola’s line of mesh-network offerings and includes 120-volt AC protection for access points, AC and one Ethernet protection for all applications and AC and dual-Ethernet protection for all applications, according to the company. Models with 240-volt AC protection also are available.
