WiMAX Forum selects Tektronix’s test solution

The WiMAX Forum selected Tektronix Communications’ G35-WiMAX protocol test solution to verify the interoperability of WiMAX network nodes in Mobile WiMAX Forum certified test laboratories. The solution will analyze the responses of individual devices in test scenarios specified by the forum. According to the company, it provides real-time decoding and advanced filtering of IEEE 802.16e R1 data transmissions and simulates complete network element behavior over WiMAX interfaces for the purpose of functional and load or stress testing.
