WiMAX Forum names North American testing lab

The WiMAX Forum has named the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies College Park-based MAXWell Lab as the first endorsed WiMAX applications lab in North America. The lab will support application testing in real environments, such as WiMAX deployments in the Washington, D.C., area, according to the forum.
