Airspan submits WiMAX base station for certification

Airspan Networks has delivered its WiMAX base station to Cetecom, the WiMAX Forum’s certification laboratory. The Malaga, Spain-based lab opened earlier this month for the interoperability testing of WiMAX products. The MacroMAX base station that will be tested is based on software-defined radio technology from PicoChip.
