Digital terminal revenue jumps in China

Mar 14, 2006 4:12 PM

IMS Research, a market research company based in Shanghai, reported that digital mobile radio terminal revenues in China increased by 219% in 2005. The digital terminal market accounts for about 33% of total licensed mobile radio terminal revenues in China.

IMS attributed the increase to strong growth in digital public-access mobile radio networks in China and forecasted that revenues will dip slightly this year before increasing again in 2007. The firm further predicted that total revenues would reach $107 million, or 63% of total licensed mobile radio terminal revenues, by 2010.
