EFJohnson adds VoIP to Netelligent infrastructure
Mar 26, 2004 12:00 PM
LAS VEGAS -- EFJohnson announced that it has added a voice-over-IP capability to its Project 25-compliant Netelligent Infrastructure System. The company said the VoIP technology provides a "higher degree of reliability" because it eliminates a "single point of failure" in a communications network. "Adding VoIP makes a secure and reliable system even more ideal for public safety," said Michael Jalbert, chairman and CEO of EFJohnsnon's parent company, EFJ, Inc., in a statement. The VoIP version of the Netelligent solution is scheduled to begin shipping in the second quarter of this year.
