Wireless LAN switch introduced

California Eastern Laboratories announced the availability of a GaAs MMIC switch from NEC developed for 5 GHz 802.11 wireless LAN networks. The UPG2022 SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) switch—designed for antenna-switching applications—is available in a standard six-pin SOT-363 style TB package and a 2 x 3 x 0.75 mm, six-pin T5G package that offers flat, recessed leads, CEL said.
