Pyramid Communications unveils two new vehicular repeaters

Pyramid Communications unveiled two new vehicular repeaters. The SVR-250 synthesized vehicular repeater is available in VHF, UHF, 700, 800 and 900 MHz frequencies. It is PC programmable for up to 20 channels, with wideband and narrowband, CTCSS/DCS emergency or dual tone on a per channel basis. It also can interface with analog or Project 25 (P25)-compatible digital radios. The P25 synthesized vehicular repeater is compliant with the P25 Phase I Digital Common Air Interface protocol and features AES and DES encryption and emergency signaling from portable radios to dispatchers, according to the company.
