Apr 1, 2007 12:00 PM
Boston Red Sox players this spring are toting a small, wireless pedometer called the ActiPed from FitSense Technology. The pedometer tracks steps, burned calories and mileage and is part of the company's ActiHealth network that collects and wirelessly transmits information on physical activity, weight, body fat, blood pressure, heart rate, peak blood flow and blood glucose.
