Electric co-op installs tracking system

Energy distribution cooperative CoServ Electric of Corinth, Texas, will install Telargo's fleet-management solution in its electric- and gas-service vehicles. The solution lets customers track mobile assets by combining global positioning system and digital mapping technology with management software. It will be used for work-force management and preventive maintenance, using on-board diagnostic codes that are accessible through a Web-based interface, according to the company.
