M/A-COM announces P25 deployment

Tyco Electronics's M/A-COM business unit has been awarded a $13.9 million contract to implement its Project 25IP radio communications system throughout Madison County, Ky. The nine-site simulcast system will support interoperability among emergency response personnel and other agencies in and around the county, according to the company.
