MSV rolls out mutual-aid talk groups

Mobile Satellite Ventures of Reston, Va., will operate two mutual-aid radio talk groups on its satellite communications network. The Louisiana Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness will manage the groups so emergency responders and public-safety officials in Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas can have interoperable communications, according to the company.
