Nighthawk lands utility contract

Nighthawk Systems has been awarded a contract for 485 of its CEO700 wireless-disconnect units by the Public Works Commission of Fayetteville, N.C., which serves approximately 67,000 customers. The units let electric utilities wirelessly disconnect and reconnect power to residential electric meters from a centralized location, according to the company.
