Positron deploys IP-based E911 system

Positron Public Safety Systems announced that the Broward Sheriff's Office in Broward County, Fla., upgraded to next-generation E911 services by installing the company's voice-over-IP for emergency response platform. The solution will be deployed across the county's 13 public safety answering points, according to the company.
