RELM receives secure encryption validation

RELM Wireless received a Federal Information Processing Standards [FIPS] 140-2 validation from the National Institute of Standards and Technology. The validation certifies secure encryption for the cryptographic module used in the company's BK Radio DPH 5102x handset, which also is compliant with the APCO Project 25 technical standard for interoperable digital, analog and mixed-mode public-safety radio communications.
