Strix, Dotworkz partner on video surveillance system

Strix Systems and Dotworkz Systems jointly announced the Integrated Wireless Video Surveillance System (IWVS) designed for IP video surveillance over wireless Wi-Fi mesh networks. Strix Systems contributed hardware and software to the design, which were integrated into the Dotworkz D2 weatherized enclosures for IP-enabled pan-tilt-zoom cameras. According to the companies, the integration of the two systems supports high throughput and low latency through intelligent radio algorithms.
