TeleCommunications Systems wins E911 patent

TeleCommunication Systems announced that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has awarded the company a patent for a solution that addresses techniques for routing wireless E911 calls to the nearest PSAP. The solution is supported by the company's Xypoint Location Platform, which offers location-based technologies that route E911 calls and location data to PSAPs, according to the company.
