Digital Angel lands Swiss Air Force contract

Digital Angel announced that its SARBE division has signed a $2.4 million contract with Armasuisse, Switzerland’s defense procurement agency, to supply SARBE Personal Locator Beacons to the Swiss Air Force to track equipment and forces. The beacons use radio frequency identification technology to wirelessly transmit data to command-and-control centers, according to the company.
