Digital Dispatch acquires software provider

Mobile-data solutions provide Digital Dispatch Systems signed a letter of intent to acquire Kirkland, Wash.-based StrataGen Systems, a developer of automatic, real-time scheduling software systems for mass-transit operations. The transaction is expected to close Oct. 29.
