Electricity company chooses mobile computers for wireless program

Psion Teklogix will provide a customized, rugged mobile-computing solution for Hydro One Networks, an electricity transmission and distribution system headquartered in Toronto, Canada. Its field service employees will use the mobile solution as part of its “Smart Meter” program, which involves the installation of wireless meters in Georgina and East Gwillimbury neighborhoods of north Toronto.
