InterAct deploys E911 system

InterAct Public Safety Systems announced it recently implemented 15 new mobile fire units at the Regional Fire Protection Authority in Victorville, Calif., which are used in conjunction with the company’s computer-aided dispatch, geographic information system (GIS) software and WebCAD products currently in use by the agency. According to the company, the E911 Phase 2-compliant fire units let dispatchers locate mobile-phone callers within three meters of their location.
