NextPhase completes 4.9 GHz installation for California PD

NextPhase Wireless completed installation of a wireless broadband network for the Irvine (Calif.) Police Department. The system operates on 4.9 GHz spectrum and will be used to transmit voice, video and data from mobile and fixed radio communications devices— such as video surveillance cameras—to the department’s mobile command vehicle, the company said.
