RF Micro Devices launches GPS solutions

Greensboro, N.C.-based RF Micro Devices released samples of its RF8110 GPS solution, which combines a radio-frequency integrated circuit and software to deliver GPS technology to next-generation devices. The solution delivers positioning data while reducing the number of components, system size and total bill-of-materials cost, according to the company.
