Tait Radio lands wireless communications contract

Tait Radio Communications was awarded a contract from Jackson County, Mich., for mobile voice and data communications equipment. The county will deploy Tait’s QS2 Simulcast Network, which lets a site operate independently as a talkthrough repeater if a link is lost or in breakout mode if an emergency creates a high level of voice traffic in a particular location, according to the company.
