Jul 7, 2005 5:27 PM

Midian Electronics introduced the DDU-600 and CAD-600 display decoders that are compatible with Kenwood’s FleetSync messaging protocol. In addition to displaying both unit ID and emergency ID, the units decode and display incoming ANI as well as an alias and the time of the ANI. The DDU-600 has a database capacity of 125 units while the CAD-600 can log the incoming information to a disk or printer. The decoders are designed to monitor radio communications for public-safety, taxi and towing fleets, the company said.
