Shared Spectrum demonstrates software system for Army

Shared Spectrum Co. successfully demonstrated its Dynamic Spectrum Access technology in a field demonstration conducted at the Army’s Yuma, Ariz., proving ground as part of the NeXt Generation radio program of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. The company installed the DSA software on tactical radios from Thales Communications and Harris Corp. to demonstrated the frequency agility using its multi-band DSA-2100 radio prototypes across bands from 225 MHz to 3 GHz.
