Carmaker chooses wireless system

Hackensack, N.J.-based I.D. Systems recently announced that Nissan North America would deploy the company's Wireless Asset Net vehicle management system on a fleet of material-handling equipment at its manufacturing plant in Decherd, Tenn. The solution uses RFID technology to control, track, monitor and analyze assets, the company said. Previously, Nissan deployed the system at its Smyrna, Tenn., plant.
