Navini Networks joins WiMAX Forum

Navini Networks announced it would become a member of the WiMAX Forum, which promotes the development of compatible and interoperable broadband wireless products using the IEEE 802.16 and ETSI HiperMAN wireless MAN specifications. The company also said it would add WiMAX-certified systems to its Ripwave product portfolio, which consists of base stations, modems and an IP-based network management system that can accommodate up to 1,000 base stations. In addition, Navini will deliver its Adaptive phased array antenna technology in IEEE 802.16 standards-based products, the company said.
