Hong Kong airport deploys wireless system

Cisco Systems announced that the Airport Authority of Hong Kong has deployed its Unified Wireless Network Solution. The 802.11 a/b/g solution supports Wi-Fi protected access and advanced enterprise-level encryption standards, as well as a variety of RFID applications, including baggage tracking. It also includes a WLAN intrusion prevention system and network admission control to secure data transmitted from wired and wireless endpoint devices to the network, according to Cisco.
