SkyCross unveils antenna technology

Jan 28, 2008 12:13 PM, - MRT

SkyCross unveiled its Isolated Mode Antenna Technology, or iMAT, single-antenna approach for device designers and manufacturers, network operators and end users. According to the company, iMAT enables designers of wireless electronics to offer diversity or multiple input, multiple output (MIMO) communications and eliminates the need to configure multiple antennas. It supports legacy networks and WiMAX, 802.11x and LTE (long-term evolution)—a 4G wireless broadband specification.
