EWA awarded license-management contract

Following completion of a formal competitive bidding process, Enterprise Wireless Alliance (EWA) was awarded a three year contract to provide FCC license management, application preparation, frequency coordination and related spectrum advisory services to Metro, the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Metro’s service area covers 1,433 square miles with a population of more than 9.6 million people, which is nearly one-third of California’s population. Metro’s critical spectrum resources are located in numerous bands including 160 MHz, 450 MHz, 508 MHz and 900 MHz.
