Alanco lands multimillion dollar D.C. contract

Alanco/TSI PRISM has been awarded a $3.3 million contract by the Washington, D.C., Department of Corrections for a radio frequency identification inmate-tracking system that will track and monitor more than 2000 inmates at the department’s jail. The new tracking system combines the company’s RFID system with Wi-Fi-compatible real-time location technology from AeroScout.
